Revealed: Bill Gates invests billions in fast food, private prison and oil companies

Thirty-seven per cent of Bill Gates’ net worth would end world hunger. Instead, he invests billions of dollars into corporations blamed for many of the same health issues the Gates Foundation claims it seeks to cure.

The Los Angeles Times revealed back in 2007 that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has made millions of dollars each year from companies blamed for many of the same social and health problems the Foundation seeks to address.

The LA Times investigation revealed the Gates Foundation’s humanitarian concerns are not reflected in how it invests its money. In the Niger Delta — where the Foundation funds programs to fight polio and measles – the Foundation has also invested more than $400 million dollars in companies including Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon Mobil Corp, and Chevron. These oil firms have been responsible for much of the pollution many blame for respiratory problems and other afflictions among the local population.

The Gates Foundation also has investments in sixty-nine of the worst polluting companies in the US and Canada, including Dow Chemical. It holds stakes in pharmaceutical companies whose drugs cost far beyond what most AIDS patients around the world can afford. Other companies in the Foundation’s portfolio have been accused of transgressions including forcing thousands of people to lose their homes; supporting child labor; and defrauding and neglecting patients in need of medical care.

With an endowment larger than all but four of the world’s largest hedge funds, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is easily one of the most powerful charities in the world. According to its website, the organization “works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives.” So how do the investments of the foundation’s $36 billion investing arm, the Gates Foundation Trust, match up to its mission? We dug into the group’s recently released 2012 tax returns to find out.

The Gates Foundation did not respond to Mother Jones’ requests for comment; however, its investment policy says the the trust’s managers “consider other issues beyond corporate profits, including the values that drive the foundation’s work.”

In its most recent annual report to investors, private prison company GEO group listed some risks to its bottom line, including “reductions in crime rates” that “could lead to reductions in arrests, convictions and sentences,” along with immigration reform and the decriminalization of drugs. One year after Mother Jones reported the foundations investment in this company, the philanthropy’s trust will not say if one of its most controversial holdings is still on its books. Military contractor DynCorp ($2.5 million donated by the foundation), meanwhile, has faced allegations of fraudmismanagement, and even slavery from the Middle East to Eastern Europe. For Bill Gates to fund  corporations such as Dyncorp, a military contractor, which financed the entire Iraq war, while 37% of his net worth could end world hunger, is not noble, and its ridiculous to consider it charity.

Polio vaccinations by the Gates Foundation cause thousands of cases of AFP in India

A large portion of the world’s vaccines are given to the Third World as “charity,” when the underlying conditions of economic impoverishment, poor nutrition, chemical exposures, and political unrest are never addressed. Helping the effort against polio is a noble and inspiring thing to do. In India, Bill Gates’ funded polio vaccine is said to have wiped out the disease, which is considered to be a landmark achievement. But the country now has the world’s highest rate of non-polio AFP (acute flaccid paralysis) cases, which is linked entirely to his vaccinations. AFP is a condition in which a patient suffers from paralysis that results in floppy limbs due to reduced muscle tone. While AFP is symptomatic of polio, it can be caused by other diseases such as the Guillain Barre Syndrome and nerve lesions as well—the primary cause fuelling the argument that India is not really free of wild polio virus.

There is a dirty secret in the vaccine business that is very well documented: the live oral polio vaccine can actually spread polio and causes AFP. This is very well-known throughout the world, but in the U.S. mainstream media, this information is seldom, if ever, published. As usual, we need to research further past the mainstream media outlets to find out what is happening with vaccines around the world.

Data from India on polio control over 10 years, available from the National Polio Surveillance Project, has now been compiled and made available online for anyone to see. This shows that the non-polio AFP rate increases in proportion to the number of polio vaccine doses received in each area. Nationally, the non-polio AFP rate is now 12 times higher than expected. In the states of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar, which have pulse polio rounds nearly every month, the non-polio AFP rate is 25- and 35-fold higher than the international norms.

LiveMint in India reported on the polio-free myth in India, explaining how the live polio vaccine was responsible for increases in paralysis. LiveMint is the second largest business newspaper in India and has an exclusive relationship with the Wall Street Journal. So this report was from the “mainstream” media in India.

(Vidya Krishnan reported the story: India to get polio-free status amid rise in acute flaccid paralysis cases)

What is clear from this report, and well documented in peer-reviewed literature, is that the term “polio-free status” is completely meaningless. The designation of a country as “polio-free” is simply a triumphant marketing cry  to continue promoting polio vaccines, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that oral polio vaccines do far more harm than good.

The oral polio vaccine is banned in the United States and many other countries. The truth is that the reality is not pretty as we’d like to believe. Bill Gates, and his very charitable organization, is part of the problem, while funding exactly what is wrong with the world. From dangerous vaccinations, to funding war, to Bill Gates buying 500,000 shares of geo-engineering corporation, Monsanto. Ιτ ισ τime to expose him just like everyone else perpetuating the failures of our system. Because no matter how humanitarian they can appear to be, the money always tells a different story.

US, China Have Unsafe Encounters in South China Sea

Pentagon blames Chinese behavior, but US ships keep confronting them

God damned Americans, what are you doing in Chinese waters, on the other side of the world? Go home and fix your deteriorating country ye eejits!

Go home Yankees, go fix your country!

Mounting US tensions with China are mostly playing out diplomatically. The South China Sea is the one area where military confrontation is a risk. Pentagon officials have suggested there were nine such incidents in recent months.

The incidents are common. A US warship or two approaches Chinese claimed territory in the South China Sea, and China responds. The US gets mad at China’s response, saying it is “unsafe” to react to their provocations.

The US doesn’t like the way China reacts, but they won’t just not engage in such provocations. If anything, the Pentagon has a growing number of missions in the South China Sea challenging China and provoking a response.

The Pentagon tends to overstate what was “unsafe” labeling any reaction to their operations as such. A military confrontation, however, cannot be ruled out, and the more encounters happen, the higher that risk becomes.

Trump Claims to Have Venezuela ‘Surrounded’ as Iranian Tankers Approach

Dear American government, you are scum, you are bloody scum for preventing a nation from eating and living just because they don’t want your corrupt system of thinking. Scum.

Venezuela’s armed forces will escort the vessels upon reaching territorial waters.

US President Donald Trump issued new threats against Venezuela on Wednesday.

“We’ve got it [Venezuela] surrounded, it’s surrounded at a level that nobody even knows but they know. We are watching to see what happens,” he warned during a conference call with Hispanic leaders.

The president’s remarks come amid escalating tensions over Iranian fuel shipments to Venezuela.

Five Iranian tankers are en route to the South American country carrying at least US $45.5 million in gasoline and other products. According to maritime tracking data, the closest vessel, Fortune, is currently three days from port.

Washington is mulling unilateral sanctions aimed at halting the shipments, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

Last month, Trump ordered the mobilization of US naval assets to the Caribbean in an “anti-drug” operation targeting Venezuela described as one of the largest military deployments in the region since the 1989 invasion of Panama. The US leader had previously threatened Venezuela with a naval blockade.

Caracas and Tehran have rejected US threats against the tankers, which are estimated to contain enough fuel to supply Venezuela for around 50 days.

On Wednesday, Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino Lopez revealed that naval and air assets would escort the Iranian vessels upon entering Venezuela’s territorial waters.

Venezuela is currently suffering widespread gasoline shortages, with domestic production hamstrung by US sanctions prohibiting the import of vital diluents and spare parts needed to reactivate the country’s refining capacity.

Since 2017, the Trump administration has targeted Venezuela with crushing economic sanctions, including an oil embargo blocking fuel exports to the Caribbean country as well as a blanket ban on dealings with Venezuelan state entities.

In recent months, the US Treasury Department has imposed secondary sanctions on two affiliates of Russian energy giant Rosneft, which had been carrying up to 60 percent of Venezuela’s crude output in addition to supplying diesel and gasoline.

Following the departure of Rosneft, Tehran has stepped in to provide fuel as well as technical assistance in repairing Venezuela’s largest refinery, which has been offline since last year’s nationwide blackouts. The Trump administration has likewise threatened Iran over its technical air corridor to Venezuela, calling on other countries to suspend Iranian overflight rights.

Trump’s team considered 1st NUCLEAR TEST since 1992 as show of strength to Russia & China – reports

These American imbeciles do not get that nuclear power is not something you play political games with.  Do the testing in downtown New York ye troglodytes!
Trump's team considered 1st NUCLEAR TEST since 1992 as show of strength to Russia & China – reports
US authorities considered whether to carry out a “rapid” nuclear test – the first for almost three decades – to use as a bargaining chip in dealing with Russia and China, according to media reports.

The proposal to cause a controlled nuclear explosion is “very much an ongoing conversation,” a high-ranked official within the administration of Donald Trump told the Washington Post on Saturday.

It was assumed that a “rapid test” could prove useful in making Moscow and Beijing negotiate a nuclear-weapons-related trilateral deal with Washington, the paper’s sources said.

The rationale behind the United States holding its first test of this kind since 1992 involves a convenient allegation that Russia and China have resumed testing low-yield nuclear munitions. So far, however, there is no publicly available evidence substantiating the claims, the Post itself noted.

US is stuck in Cold War thinking; Plan to spend Russia & China ‘into oblivion’ in arms race will bankrupt only America

The plan was apparently floated on May 15, but it was ultimately decided to shelve the resumption of nuclear testing for now.

“There are still some professionals in the room who told them this is a terrible idea, thank God,” an unnamed congressional aide told the Guardian. The scheme, dismissed as “unworkable and dumb,” received critical acclaim from the National Nuclear Security Administration and State Department, which refused to come “on board.”

Putting nuclear devices on trial is generally prohibited under the 1996 Nuclear Testing and Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, signed by 184 nations. Russia ratified the accord four years later. The US didn’t do so but chose to adhere to its moratorium on nuclear tests, which is still in force for the time being.

Washington has already rid itself of two vital arms control agreements in recent years. In 2019, the Trump administration quit the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with Russia, which banned short- and medium-range ballistic missiles. The US cited alleged violations by Moscow, a claim that Kremlin denied, pointing out that ditching the landmark accord was a pre-planned action by the US administration.

ALSO ON RT.COMTrusted NATO ally Germany set to abide by Open Skies Treaty even after US pullout, calls on others to make it stay

This week, Trump announced that the US will pull out of the Open Skies Treaty, which allows its 35 signatories, among them Russia and NATO members, to conduct surveillance flights of each other’s territories.

The last major arms control pact still standing is the 2010 New START agreement, which was aimed at halving US and Russian missile launchers. Set to expire in February next year, it is now in jeopardy, with Washington threatening to “spend Russia into oblivion” if an arms race breaks out, while also unwilling to extend the pact without bringing China into the negotiations.

Censored Cannabis TedxTalk: Ted Smith in TedxLangford

To those who don’t know who Ted Smith is: His bakery was raided and he and three others, his wife and two employees, were charged under the then law and found guilty of cannabis related silly charges. He went to the Supreme Court of Canada with this case and WON! He is one of the reasons Cannabis is legal in Canada today. Ted is a true pioneer and a living legend! Great speech by the way Ted. Oh, his cookies and edibles are awesome and delicious.

Censored Cannabis TedxTalk: Ted Smith in TedxLangford

Ted Smith is the founder and president of the Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club and the author of Hempology 101. Ted’s years of work as a cannabis activist and community leader provide ample insight for shedding light on the cannabis industry today.

Ted’s presentation, Cannabis, Class and the Healing of the Nations, tackles the topic of the multiple methods the elite have used influence laws governing access to cannabis. This influence over cannabis legislation, Ted argues, was designed to suppress information and access to cannabis from the lower classes.

Censored Cannabis TedxTalk: Ted Smith in TedxLangford

Watch the presentation about cannabis that TedXTalks refuses to share.

TEDXTalks has decided that my presentation on cannabis policy violated their community standards!

After giving the best speech of my career, it was very disappointing for me to learn that TEDXTalks decided that they would not share the video. Since they authorized the theme of my talk beforehand, it seemed impossible to imagine that afterwards they would decide the content was inappropriate. Funny, I always thought TEDXTalks was about providing critical information but apparently it has to fit a certain worldview to be acceptable.

Throughout this speech I highlight different ways the elite have used laws to suppress information and access to cannabis from the lower classes. It is surprising the wide variety of ways the general public has been manipulated by the ruling classes regarding the use and sale of cannabis products, including present day. While it was a challenge getting all of this information into an 18 minute presentation, I am very happy with how smoothly I was able to transition through so much history and politics.

Of course, it was not perfect. At the end I felt rushed as I did not have a clock to see how close to the 18 minute mark I was and I rushed, missing a very important point. When you watch the video, you would never know I made this mistake but it is glaring to me.

One of the most important uses of cannabis in the future will be in various building materials. Almost everything but glass and metal can be replaced entirely or in part using hemp products, from mixing it into the foundation, to insulation, to plywood to upholstery and paint. These hemp-based building materials generally provide better insulation, are fire resistant, use less pollutants and will cost less than traditional items. Soon we will be living in a world where literally almost everything is made using cannabis, many of our processed foods will have hemp seeds by-products and our medicine cabinets will be full of a range of cannabis products.

Ultimately, though, it is hard for me to imagine doing a more informative, inspirational, and thought-provoking lecture and I am super happy we can finally share it with everyone. Instead of being upset TEDXTalks has decided to dismiss my speech, I could not be happier because it actually proves the point I was trying to make.”

Stop censoring us, Big Tech! Joe Rogan’s $100 million move to Spotify sends stark message to YouTube

RT should have mentioned that the first person Rogan called after he signed the Spotify deal was Alex Jones. Rogan told Jones that he would be the first guest on his new platform.
I am thrilled that someone finally is doing something to bypass the censorship of these bloated social media corporations.
Spotify must make the platform as appealing and efficient as YouTube. And hopefully, Spotify will learn from the censorship and demonetizing mistakes that YouTube did.
Stop censoring us, Big Tech! Joe Rogan’s $100 million move to Spotify sends stark message to YouTube
The comedian’s landmark shift away from the Google-owned streaming service could signal the start of a wave of creators moving away from the site – as it bafflingly attempts to pander to legacy media.

If you know podcasts, you know Joe Rogan. The American comedian has been producing his Joe Rogan Experience for more than a decade. He began just recording himself and his fellow comics shooting the breeze and smoking some weed before and after gigs.

Fast forward ten years and he has one of the biggest talk shows on the planet with presidential candidates, Hollywood megastars and billionaires queuing up to join him in the studio. The show has such enormous sway that it even managed to affect the price of Tesla stocks after Elon Musk took a toke on a joint during an interview.

In view of all this, it is perhaps not surprising that Spotify have just wooed the former Fear Factor presenter away from YouTube after writing him a cheque for a rumoured $100 million. That is proper, box office megabucks. To put it into context, that is more than Dr Phil, Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh, Ellen DeGeneres and Ryan Seacrest were valued at last year by Forbes Magazine in their top five list of “World’s Highest Paid Hosts”.

This, on top of his always sold out arena tours as a comedian, his long-running deal with Netflix to screen his specials and his role as a colour commentator for the UFC have made Rogan a staggeringly wealthy man, and all from just talking.

Since its inception, the Joe Rogan Experience’s home has been YouTube. His channel, “PowerfulJRE”, has more than eight million subscribers and he pulls in around 400 million views a month. But despite these outrageous numbers and his ludicrous success on the medium, Rogan has decided to leave the platform. While he will keep updating his JRE Clips channel, which shows 5-15minute clips from his shows, his flagship multiple-hour broadcasts will be made available exclusively to Spotify.

Part of his reason for jumping ship (although I’m sure the $100 million helped) is the way YouTube has been censoring both his own and other people’s content on the platform. Rogan has often complained of his shows being “demonetised” on the streaming service.

Demonetisation is when YouTube removes adverts from a video posted by a content creator, meaning that they no longer make any money from that video being on the site. The reason Google owned YouTube normally gives for that is that advertisers would be “unhappy” seeing their products advertised on that channel as it may be “problematic”.

ALSO ON RT.COMThree more months of lockdown? Joe Rogan mulls leaving ‘restrictive’ California for TexasLast October, Rogan said: “They’re scrambling for control. They want to control the way people communicate. And they also want to make a profit. See part of this is they’re incentivizing people to do shows that they can profit off of. So if you have a show that has no bad language, if you have a show that has no controversial topics, those shows are more appealing to advertisers. So for them, as a business, they’ll look at someone like me and say, ‘Well this is a limited advertisers option’.”

As a disease, demonetisation appears much more likely to afflict “right wing” content creators. Rogan appears to have fallen into this category simply by having right of centre guests on his show, despite him interviewing and saying that he would have voted Bernie Sanders if he had won the democratic nomination, as well as being a vocal supporter of Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

Other stars on the platform that have called out YouTube for apparently politically motivated censorship include conservative comic and talk show host Steven Crowder, British YouTuber Carl Benjamin (better known as Sargon of Akkad) and talk show host Dave Rubin, all of whom have also appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience.

Rogan leaving the platform should come as a wake-up call to YouTube. He is one of their biggest and most visible stars and his shift to Spotify is likely to be the first of many moves away from the streaming service. Of the three mentioned above, most of Crowder’s content is released on Blaze TV, Rubin has launched his own social network “Thinkspot” in partnership with best-selling author Jordan Peterson, and yesterday Benjamin announced during a livestream he intended to set up his own outlet and leave YouTube.

ALSO ON RT.COMElon Musk says human language will be OBSOLETE in 10 years, after struggling to pronounce his baby’s name on Joe RoganAlong with apparently penalising “wrong thinking” content creators, YouTube has also made the decision to prioritise what it calls “authoritative sources”. This has seen it bias its algorithms in favour of mainstream news outlets, such as CNN, the BBC and Fox News, ahead of creators who have made their name on the site itself. The move seems to be an attempt by Google to cosy up to liberal-leaning legacy media for reasons of corporate vanity. However, it has angered content creators on the platform who helped build the site’s popularity, and annoyed viewers, many of whom visit YouTube expressly to get away from the MSM.

In the years to come, Rogan’s move to Spotify will come to be seen as a landmark moment in the history of the media. Having seen earning potential, a slew of content creators are likely to begin shifting away from YouTube while it continues to pander to the old media giants. YouTube is watched by younger people in search of something fresh, whereas the average age of Fox and CNN viewers is north of 60. If YouTube wants to hang on to its stellar talent it needs to stop trying to force its California liberal West Coast values onto its viewers and stay true to its original mission, “Broadcast Yourself”.

Can Major Solar Activity Influence Human Behavior and History?

This is an excerpt from the post above.

What drew my attention is the correlation between major solar activity and major events throughout human history. Look at the graph. Is there any truth to this? Because I believe we are in for some major solar activity soon.

“It was not possible to formulate the laws of quantum mechanics in a fully consistent way without reference to consciousness.” – Max Planck

Solar flares not only have the ability to produce a beautiful light show for spectators on Earth but also coincide with major world events and have a powerful effect on human consciousness.

‘GIANT KANGAROO’ acting as ‘dog of the US’: Chinese newspaper mocks Australia amid trade row

‘GIANT KANGAROO’ acting as ‘dog of the US’: Chinese newspaper mocks Australia amid trade row
Australia better smarten up. The future belongs to China, not the USA. In 25 years or so, if we are still around, China will rule the world and the USA will be tied up in the new and improved International Court of Justice for crimes against humanity until the end of the century.  Australia is being dense; its immediate neighbor is China not the US.
A Chinese tabloid widely considered to be a mouthpiece of the ruling communist party has printed some harsh words about Australia over the country’s support of the US attack on Beijing’s Covid-19 response.

Tensions between the US and China have lately been focused around Beijing’s response to the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan and Washington’s accusation of a cover-up regarding its severity and possible origin. Some of the US’ global allies, like Australia, have been following its lead, provoking Chinese displeasure.

The Global Times, a popular Chinese tabloid generally considered to be reflective of the government’s position, ran with some pretty insulting words about Australia over its siding with the US’ position. The nation is a “giant kangaroo that serves as a dog of the US,” the paper cited an anonymous Chinese netizen as saying.

ALSO ON RT.COMStudy Trump cited in his latest attack on WHO does NOT EXIST, says editor-in-chief of prestigious medical journal

Now it will “hit a deadlock with China on trade disputes in sectors like coal and beef. Hopefully, the US will compensate it!” the comment continued. The Global Times said it was an example of how Chinese people online were mocking Australia for subverting its national interests to support hawkish US foreign policy goals.

The quote was interpreted by some Australian media outlets as Beijing alluding to possible repercussions for Australian businesses. Bloomberg reported on Tuesday that the Chinese government may target Australian goods – including wine, dairy, seafood, oatmeal, and fruit – with various restrictions, and call on the Chinese public to boycott products made in Australia.

ALSO ON RT.COMUS attempts to push Covid-19 China lab theory undermine plan for independent probe into virus’ origin – reports

The article in the Global Times centered around this week’s session of the World Health Assembly (WHA), the governing body of the World Health Organization. The WHA passed a resolution calling for an investigation into the global response to Covid-19. Beijing was among the motion’s supporters, insisting it was now substantively different from what its early sponsors, including Australia, were aiming for.

Beijing rejects the US’ accusations and says insinuations that it somehow mishandled or even initiated the pandemic are just an attempt by Washington to defer responsibility for its own botched response.

Carbon pollution fell 17 percent during coronavirus lockdown peak

I say let’s keep the lockdown on permanently, as the planet and its inhabitants seem to be enjoying life without the human virus!

May 20, 2020

Study reveals such low levels not recorded since 2006, but temporary reduction could be just ‘a drop in the ocean’.

The world cut its daily carbon dioxide emissions by 17 percent at the peak of the coronavirus pandemic shutdown last month, a new study has found.

But with life and heat-trapping gas levels inching back towards normal, the brief pollution break will likely be “a drop in the ocean” when it comes to climate change, scientists said in the study released on Tuesday in the Nature Climate Change journal.

In their study of carbon dioxide emissions during the pandemic, an international team of scientists calculated that pollution levels were heading back up and, for the year, would end up between four and seven percent lower than 2019 levels.

The figure will be seven percent if the strictest lockdown rules remain all year long across much of the globe, and four percent if they are lifted soon.

That is still the biggest annual drop in carbon emissions since World War II.

For a week in April, the US cut its carbon dioxide levels by about a third.

China, the world’s biggest emitter of heat-trapping gases, sliced its carbon pollution by nearly a quarter in February. India and Europe cut emissions by 26 percent and 27 percent respectively.

The biggest global drop was from April 4 through 9 when the world was spewing 18.7 million fewer tonnes of carbon pollution a day than on New Year’s Day.

Such low global emission levels have not been recorded since 2006.

But by April 30, the world’s carbon pollution levels had grown by 3.3 million tonnes a day from its low point earlier in the month.

Carbon dioxide stays in the air for about a century.

Air pollution in Iran drops due to coronavirus outbreak

Outside experts praised the study as the most comprehensive yet, saying it shows how much effort was needed to prevent dangerous levels of further global warming.

“That underscores a simple truth: Individual behaviour alone … won’t get us there,” Pennsylvania State University climate scientist Michael Mann, who was not part of the study, said in an email. “We need fundamental structural change.”

If the world could keep up annual emission cuts like this without a pandemic for a couple of decades, there was a decent chance Earth could avoid warming another 1C (1.8F) of warming from now, authors of the study said.

But getting the type of yearly cuts to reach that international goal is unlikely, they said.

The study, carried out by Global Carbon Project, looked at 450 databases showing daily energy use and introduced a measurement scale for pandemic-related societal “confinement” in its estimates.

Nearly half the emission reductions came from less transportation pollution, mostly involving cars and trucks, the authors said.

By contrast, the study found that drastic reductions in air travel only accounted for 10 percent of the overall pollution drop.
